Seasonal Joy

Seasonal Joy

As the seasons change once again and autumn begins its colourful dance with Mother Nature, we are reminded that nothing in life is permanent.  But guess what?  That’s OK!

The circle of life exists in all things.  Change, growth, development.  These are a necessary but also an exquisite part of our experience.

How many times in your life have you felt stuck in a rut, stagnant or lost?  In need of something to change?  Well, here it is: We are not meant to remain as we are, as we were, or even as we’re going to be.

Change is inevitable

There’s no getting away from that.  But, it can also be an exciting part of life.  How many new beginnings start out scary as hell, but end up being the best thing that ever happened to you?  Personal growth can be a rollercoaster ride!

Here’s the thing: Life is a movable feast and happiness is a fluid concept.  So let’s stop attaching our happiness to achieving or attaining that ‘thing’ (that job, house, car, relationship, bank balance, etc.) and start taking a “leaf” from natures book.

Things alone do not equate to happiness and joy.

As the seasons change, the earth adapts and nature moves through life cycles.  We too move through similar cycles!  So, let’s wake up and spring into life.  Chase those dreams, change course, rest, reflect, nourish, and whatever else sparks our passion and brings us joy.

Move through the seasons of your own life, knowing that your happiness is the entire point!  Look at how much joy, kindness, compassion, gratitude, unconditional love, help and assistance you give so freely when you are in a space of personal joy.

Your happiness is not selfish.  It is essential to being of service to others.

“You can’t pour from an empty cup.”
